Bamboo Rod Building Classes hosted in Pagosa Springs

Take our six day class to build your own custom, handcrafted bamboo fly rod in beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado on the San Juan River.	Choose from a wide variety of natural striping guides, silk wrap color, grip and reel seat choices.	All participants leave with a completed 2 piece, one tip bamboo fly rod, a organic hemp rod sock, and premium powder coated rod tube.	Locally, hand sewn organic hemp rod socks to protect your bamboo fly rod.	Upgrade your grip from cork to rattan or a stabilized wood grip with matching reel seat.
Participants will all start by choosing their culm of bamboo and planing down the twelve sides of their bamboo fly rod.	All participants will hand wrap their choice of color of kimono silk on their bamboo fly rod.	Our classroom/workshop is ideally located in downtown Pagosa Springs, Colorado with numerous accommodation and dining options onsite and nearby.	Our six day bamboo fly rod building class is held inside of our natural fiber mercantile where customers can watch the progress of the rods being built.
